Our WalersAt present we have 3 beautiful Waler mares. Each of them is unique and has something different to offer.MaresAria Waler, 2007 Red Roan Came from Clayton Station Very nice looking mare, solid build, very friendly and quiet, nice confirmation and movement. Aria had a beautiful filly in September 2011, we named her Killarah Joanna Waler, 2007 Black Came from Prenti Downs Station A very pretty mare with a friendly and curious character. Nice movement with long strikes. Will be bred by Tango for a 2012 foal. Miss BJ Waler, 2010 Came from Juna Downs Station Very sweet young mare. Won't be using her for breeding for the next few year so she can grow and develop. Breeding programAs I am very particular in what I want in a horse, I haven't found the right Waler stallion yet.By combining old American bloodlines (our stallion Tango) with old Australian bloodlines (Walers) we gain to breed horses who can be used all round, have a laid back temperament, are solid build with good disposition and movement and can be family horses. The first foal of this combination was born in September 2011, Killarah and has everything we wanted. | |
